Think carefully about fundraising before you start, very often the simplest challenges or events reap the most awards.  Individuals and organisations will give you support for various reasons.  Be sure that you are clear of what 'Help a Guernsey Child' is about.

Help a Guernsey Child is about children's issues in the Bailiwick.

We are able to supply you with Help A Guernsey Child posters, collection boxes and wrist bands to promote your event/challenge but the key to its success is seeking the support of friends, family and work or school colleagues.

Here are a few ideas of how you can fundraise:

* Hold a music event and donate money from your ticket sales.

* Dress down day at work/school maybe £1 each to take part

* Fancy dress at work/school, you can make this more fun by awarding the best fancy dressed person.

* Fun day or open day, this could include a cake sale, jumble sale, entertainment, and much more.
